Name of the book : How I braved Anu Aunty and co-founded a million dollar company

Most of us have some or
the other business ideas in mind before joining MBA, these ideas go onto the
paper during MBA but are lost somewhere as soon as we get placed. A comfortable
corporate job takes over all the plans which if materialized could have changed
the lives of many. We do talk about innovation and the new ventures coming up
in the west, but we, the youth of the nation prefer to secure our lives and
livelihood by taking up a comfortable job and eventually the innovator within
us dies somewhere.
The title of the book
seemed to be just another story but when I started reading it, I was glued to
it and finished it off in a single day. I would say that if you think that your
life is a waste, or you are depressed, disappointed, have no clue as to what is
to be done with life, are jobless, or are too scared to do anything new, find
books boring, finding it hard to start putting your ideas into work, or you
think that you are a loser or called one by your friends or family, or if you
feel that you haven't done anything good in your life as yet, then this could
be a must read for you. Nothing has been more inspiring, interesting and
amazing. It gives motivation not only to do something but also explains as to
what are the qualities which an entrepreneur must possess.
Yes, I call this book
a manual. It is a ‘how to’ for all those entrepreneurs who dream to and
actually dare to start on their own. It tells you the brass tacks of
establishing your company including those mean little tricks like using
Facebook for publicity and just dial for contacts. It shows how information is
readily available it today’s digitized world; the only thing needed is hard
work. It shows us the immense potential of Facebook viral marketing and helps
us understand the importance of building contacts and networking. It explains
even the bits on contracts and sundry forms and collateral that one
needs to know while going out on their own.
The best part is that
all this is explained in a lucid and hilarious manner that one doesn't realize
that it is actually teaching you something. You can read it for both business
and pleasure. You can read it if you want to be an entrepreneur and even if you
have no plans of being one.
This book is a true
story about a college pass-out who has no job, no plans in his mind, a society,
which in this book has been depicted in the form of Anu Aunty, who is not so
supportive, and only a little cash but high ambitions and an urge to give wings
to his dreams. This is about how
this young entrepreneur fights against all odds and establishes a Million
dollar school/college merchandise Company. This book can be considered as an
advisory to young entrepreneurs, a fun and leisure reading for some and as an
instrument of motivation for others.
This book teaches the
hows and whys of being proactive and facing challenges as they come your way.
It also gives readers a lesson not to loose hope in conditions of distress,
develop a never say die attitude and most importantly how to turn your
dreams into reality.. There will be instances when everybody will be
against you but what matters more is how you handle such situations, keep your
head up and perform to the best of your ability.
To put it in a few words I would
say the book is Informative, entertaining, funny and of course motivating.
